System integrator Alewijnse Marine Systems is pleased to announce that in addition to having been awarded the contract for the complete electrical installation package for one Indonesian naval frigate, it has now also won the contract for a second identical vessel.
Overall the contracts cover the provision of compIete electrical installation packages including platform automation and integrated bridge systems on twin, 105-metre SIGMA PKR 10514 Guided Missile Frigates.
The first of these is already under construction for the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) by Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding (DSNS) in the Netherlands and PT PAL (Persero) Shipyard in Indonesia.
