Belarus Adopts Domestically Developed Long-Range Radar

Vostok-DThe Belarusian army has commissioned a new domestically developed long-range radar as it phases out Soviet-era equipment, the country’s defense ministry said Friday.

“The Belarusian-made Vostok-D radar has been put on combat duty in electronic warfare units,” the ministry’s spokesman said.

The Vostok-D is a truck-mounted 2D surveillance radar that operates in the VHF band.
