Does the AN/TPS-78 have a common name? By that, the AN/TPS-70 is called "Vigilant" and I was wondering if the TPS-78 had a name as well... [I would go to Jane's or another authoritative reference, but don't have any at my disposal at the moment]. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAN/TPS-75 is an AN/TPS-70 for the U.S. market. AN/TPS-78 is a new-build version of the AN/TPS-75 for American use only. My guess: It still is the "Vigilant", just a newer version.
