For the first time, India will display at an international event its latest, state-of-the-art weapon systems, platforms, sensors, communication systems and equipment designed and developed by Hyderabad-based DRDO (Defence Research & Development Organization, Ministry of Defence, Govt of India).
DRDO, along with its production partners, will prominently display India's strength and expertise in design, development and production of such items at the International Aerospace and Defence Exhibition ADEX-2013 scheduled to be held in Seoul, South Korea from Oct, 29-Nov, 3 2013.
More than 30 countries are expected to take part in the meet. DRDO's pavilion at ADEX is to be inaugurated by minister of state for defence Jitendra Singh on October 29. The DRDO team is being led by its chief Avinash Chander.
