US, China to Hold Antipiracy Drills in Gulf of Aden

Sea piracy in the modern worldUS and Chinese naval forces will conduct a joint antipiracy exercise in the Gulf of Aden over the weekend, Xinhua reported Saturday.

Guided missile destroyers, supply ships, shipborne helicopters and special task forces will participate in the exercise, the agency said.

Last September, the two countries conducted their first antipiracy drill in the Gulf of Aden.
