Brazil moves ahead on Russia missile talks, in part for Olympic protection

SA-22 Pantsir S1 |Brazil says it is entering talks to buy Russian anti-aircraft defence systems, in part to provide security during the 2016 Olympic Games.

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff on Wednesday hosted Russian Prime Minister Dimitri Medvedev. They talked about trade, education and military ties.

A Brazilian Defence Ministry statement said it has received the "green light" to move ahead with an arms deal.
