Inhofe wants to stop F-16s from going to Egypt

James Mountain ''Jim'' Inhofe |U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe wants Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to stop the planned delivery of F-16 fighter jets to Egypt.

Inhofe said Tuesday that he asked Clinton in a letter Monday to delay delivery of the first four F-16s that are scheduled for Jan. 22.

Inhofe is a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and said current Egyptian President Muhammad Morsi's "dictatorial decree and absence of promoting promised democracy" is a reason to re-examine the delivery.
