Yuri Dolgoruky new generation nuke sub ready for commissioning

RFS Yuri Dolgoruki |The Yuri Dolgoruky advanced fourth-generation strategic nuclear submarine, built at the Sevmash military shipyard in Severodvinsk, is ready for commissioning, the enterprise’s press service told Itar-Tass on Monday.

“Sevmash specialists have removed all the shortcomings found by the standing commission for state acceptance of vessels, to which testifies the vessel’s inspection act, signed by Chief of the Main Staff of the Russian Navy Admiral Alexander Tatarinov,” the press service said.

JSC PO Sevmash is a shipbuilding company based in Severodvinsk, a port city on Russia's White Sea. The name Sevmash is an abbreviation of Severnoye Mashinostroitelnoye Predpriyatie (i.e. Northern Machine-Building Enterprise).
