Israeli Navy Selects Elta's Radar

INS Hetz (Sa'ar 4.5) |Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has won a contract for installing ALPHA (Advanced Light Phased Array) radars.

The radar is an integral part of the electronic warfare systems installed onboard the Israeli Navy’s Sa’ar 5 missile boats.

The ALPHA radar, produced by Elta Systems and also known as ELM-2258, integrates advanced technology and can create a large number of strobes simultaneously scanning selected areas, and provides clients with a high quality real-time situation image, even in the harsh conditions prevalent in the maritime arena.
