BAE Systems to provide two Mk 110 naval guns to US Coast Guard and Navy
BAE Systems recently received a contract award for more than $20 million to supply two 57mm Mk 110 MOD 0 guns and engineering support to the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard.
The naval gun systems will be delivered to the fifth National Security Cutter for the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Navy’s training facility in Dam Neck, Virginia where sailors will benefit from Mk 110 operations and maintenance training.
“We are proud to equip the sailors that defend our country’s coastline with the best in naval gun technology,” said Mark Signorelli, vice president and general manager of Weapon Systems for BAE Systems.
