Minister for Defence observes naval exercise

[ScanEagle UAV]Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen visited the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) earlier today, where he observed a Fleet Exercise at the South China Sea.

During the visit, Dr Ng observed a demonstration of the integrated operations between the naval helicopters and the frigates and also witnessed the RSN conduct a multi-dimensional exercise.

Dr Ng also went on board the Victory-Class Missile Corvette (MCV) RSS Valiant where he was briefed on the ScanEagle Unmanned Aerial Vehicle system.
