Akash trial put off to May 22

[Akash SAM]The user specific trial of Medium Range Surface-to-Air Missile (MRSAM) Akash, scheduled for Sunday, would now be conducted on May 22.

The trial would be carried out from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) off the Odisha coast.

A defence official said the Indian armed force would test fire two rounds of Akash missiles on May 22 and May 24.
