RNZAF shows off new NH90 helicopter


The Royal New Zealand Air Force showed off the first of a new fleet of NH90 helicopters in Wellington on Friday. It is buying eight of the medium-sized utility helicopters, and a ninth for parts for $771 million.

Support and logistics charges represent more than a third of the cost. The NH90s will eventually replace the current fleet of 12 Iroquois, which have been in use for more than 40 years.
