Mercury delivering radar subsystems

Patriot PAC-3Mercury Computer Systems of Massachusetts is delivering its radar subsystems to Raytheon for Patriot Air and Missile Defense System upgrades.

The upgrades support Raytheon's recently announced contracts for Patriot Air and Missile Defense System upgrades for Taiwan and Saudi Arabia.

"These upgrades leverage Mercury's best-of-breed technologies and rapid deployment services to help Raytheon improve nearly every aspect of the Patriot system, ensuring it remains the most technologically advanced air and missile defense system in the world," said Didier Thibaud, senior vice president and general manager of Mercury Computer Systems' Advanced Computing Solutions business unit.
