Lockheed delivers helicopters to Thailand


The U.S. Navy flew the two MH-60S helicopters from Owego to the Port of Baltimore in Maryland. They will then make the ocean voyage to Thailand.

Lockheed officials say the helicopters will become a part of the Royal Thai Navy's fleet.

The helicopters are designed for utility missions, like logistics and troop transport.

Officials say the sale and delivery of these aircrafts is an indicator of the growth the site in Owego has been experiencing.
