Israeli Air Force makes pressure for V-22 Osprey tilt rotors buying

Pending the final version of the multi-year spending plan of the Israeli Defence, local sources reported the news that the Israeli Air Force (IAF) would make pressure on the defence minister for including in the plan the purchase of a "Limited" number of tilt-rotor aircraft Bell-Boeing V-22.

The aircraft would have been positively evaluated by the IAF, even after the visit of a delegation of Israeli pilots and technicians in the United States to inspect the version MV-22B Osprey of the US Marine Corps.

According to sources, the Israeli Air Force would have a budget reserve for emergencies, if the spending could not be included in the plan.
