Lockheed Martin gets ready to deliver Moroccan F-16s

Moroccan F-16C block 52Lockheed Martin is preparing to deliver the first of 24 F-16s to the Royal Moroccan Air Force (RMAF) this month, with the first aircraft having recently commenced flight testing in the United States.

The RMAF’s first aircraft, registration 80001, was flown from Lockheed Martin’s Fort Worth site in Texas in its Moroccan markings.

The single seat aircraft is one of 18 destined for the North African nation, which will also receive six D-model trainers.
