North Korea test-fired short-range missiles into the Yellow Sea last week from a region in North Pyongan Province, a source told the JoongAng Ilbo.According to a high-ranking South Korean government official, the missiles were some of the latest models in the North’s arsenal with a firing range between 100 to 110 kilometers (62 to 68 miles).
The official added that North Korea alerted its fishing boats to clear the area prior to the test.
