China to deliver eight Y-8 aircraft to Venezuela

Y-8JChina's AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Co. confirmed on Thursday that it will deliver eight Y-8 commercial aircraft to Venezuela.

The aircraft will all be delivered to the country by August 2012, a company official said.

The official added that due to customer demands, the planes will undergo several changes before being delivered, including changes to the aircraft's dashboard layout, avionics system, lighting and power distribution systems.
