Polish shipyard to build French submarines

Scorpene class submarineThe Naval Shipyard Gdynia (SMW) will build French submarines for the Polish navy, wyborcza.pl reports.

It has signed an agreement to this effect with French defense company DCNS.

The deal concerns industrial and trade cooperation, which means that the Gdynia shipyard, owned by the Industrial Development Agency, would be able to produce weapons manufactured by the French company.
