Russia Can Detect Missiles Launch from Foreign Bases: Official

EW RadarRussia's early warning system is capable of detecting the launch of missiles from foreign bases, a senior official from Russia's Space Forces said on Tuesday.

In the Main Missile Early Warning Center in Moscow region, Let. Gen. Sergei Lobov, deputy commander of the Russian Space Forces, told local media that Russia's early warning systems were even able to detect missiles launches from the United States.

"We can see all ballistic missiles launched from the foreign bases," Lobov said, noting that Russia also was in possession of the observation satellites designed to detect the missiles launches.
