BAT 12 Unmanned Aerial System


Bat™ is Northrop Grumman's family of multi-mission, persistent and affordable tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems. This product line can be configured for tactical missions such as intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, targeting, counter IED, PsyOps and communications relay.

Runway-independent and fully autonomous, the Bat™ is designed to launch from a pneumatic/hydraulic rail launcher and recover into a net recovery system. The Bat's™ blended body design provides a large payload volume, which easily accepts modular payloads. The Bat™ currently incorporates both the Hirth electronic fuel-injection engine and heavy, fuel-variant.
