Russian S-300B flight test successful


For the fist time in the history of manoeuvres, Russian S-300B anti-aircraft missile systems has managed to hit targets imitating theater-of-war ballistic missiles, said the Commander of Russian anti-aircraft missile troops General Sergey Popov at a press conference.

The General said that with the transition of anti-aircraft missile units to the state of constant operational readiness, the number of war games with combat shootings has increased by nearly one third.

The S-300B anti-aircraft missile systems are believed to be one of the world’s most powerful ones.
