Russia needs to build 150 Bulava ballistic missiles in the next decade, according to a source from the Russian arms ministry quoted by RIA Novosti Friday.The editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine told the agency that at lest 124 missiles would be required for the eight Borey class nuclear-powered submarines that will enter service over the next decade.
Thirty or 40 missiles will have to be set aside for test launches. That implies increasing the capacity of Russia's only plant producing the ballistic missiles.
