Part of me can't quite believe it, but October 17, 2010 (today) is the 5th anniversary of this blog. I made the first post on October 17, 2005 (Many Missile Boats in the Taiwan Straits).
About.com tells me that the fifth anniversary gift is…wood. I’m not sure what to do with that, but what I do know is that five years ago I posted my first blog entry.
