HMS Sultan and QE carriers 'safe with the coalition'

Queen Elisabeth classHMS Sultan may stay in Gosport, according to members of the new national coalition government.

More than 3,000 jobs in the town could be saved, as Lib Dems and Conservatives start work on national defence.

And more than 17,000 further Royal Navy jobs in Portsmouth are safe, as the city's MPs have promised the two Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers will be built, and based at Portsmouth Docks.
