PAF achieves capability to use Highways as its unconventional bases

Mirage-5PA2Two different versions of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter aircraft on Friday successfully landed at an unconventional base at the Motorway thus achieving another historic milestone to make it a real potent force.

The daring skill to operate from an unconventional strip at a specific point on Islamabad-Lahore Motorway was witnessed by a large number of senior officers of PAF, Journalists and other officials of various civil and military departments.

Minister for Communications Dr Arbab Alamgir Khan was chief guest on the occasion.
