The defense ministers of Montenegro and Slovenia will sign a contract today in Podgorica for the giving away of a 1980 submarine.The P-911 submarine, which has been in the coastal town of Tivat in southwestern Montenegro since 1997, is being gifted to Slovenia as a museum piece.
The submarine is one of the six so-called “pocket submarines” produced for the needs of the Yugoslav Navy in the 1980s. They measure 18.8 meters in length, 2.7 in width and 3.4 meters in height.
