Vietnam buys 12 Sukhoi fighters

Su-30Mk2Russia will supply 12 Su-30MK2 fighters and associated weapons for them to Vietnam, reports Interfax citing a source close to the deal.

The deal is worth approximately $1 billion, and the delivery is scheduled between 2011 and 2012, the source said.

Russia and Vietnam have already signed two major arms deals recently.
