NORAD exercise Feb 4 over Toledo
The North American Aerospace Defense Command will conduct exercise flights Thursday, Feb. 4 in the skies in the vicinity of the Toledo, Youngstown and Canton areas of Ohio.
The Ohio National Guard's 180th Fighter Wing in Swanton at Toledo Express Airport will also participate in Thursday's exercise.
The flights will take place in the mid-afternoon, and people can expect to hear and see NORAD fighter aircraft in close proximity with general aviation aircraft as they practice their intercept and identification procedures.
