It's time to build warships again: commodore

HMCS HalifaxAs the commander of the Canadian Fleet Atlantic drove into Saint John on Wednesday, he reminisced with his colleagues about the former Saint John shipyard.

Saint John Shipbuilding Ltd. was a place he remembered well and he had visited during the Canadian Patrol Frigate program of the 1990s.

But the shipyard is gone now.
