US could sell arms to Taiwan early 2010

UH-60 Black HawkUS-based Washington Post reported on Sunday that the White House could sell a batch of arms to Taiwan early 2010.

It also reported that US President Barack Obama also plans to meet with the Dalai Lama, causing tension between the US and China.

The article said that Obama plans to sell Black Hawk helicopters, anti-missile equipment and possibly also diesel powered submarines to Taiwan.
