Lockheed Martin and Terma push Seahawk for Denmark

MH-60R SeahawkToday Lockheed Martin and Terma announced a memorandum of understanding to explore opportunities associated with the possible sale of Sikorsky MH-60Rs to Denmark.

In June, the Danish Government decided to proceed with the procurement of new shipboard helicopters, and the MH-60R Seahawk is one of the candidates. Sikorsky builds the airframe, while Lockheed Martin Systems Integration – Owego is the systems integrator.

The latest version of the Seahawk is replacing the older SH-60B and SH-60F within US Navy units, with 10 squadrons and around 300 helicopters planned.
