Hezbollah has 40.000 missiles, report says

SA-8 GeckoThe Times online newspaper in London reported that the Lebanon-based Hezbollah party is now stronger that before as it managed to stockpile nearly 40.000 missiles.

The paper based its report on intelligence information, statements made by Hezbollah leader, and from Israeli military and security officials.

Deputy head of the northern command of the Israeli army, Brigadier-General Alon Friedman, told the Times that the 'peace' with Lebanon the region witnessed over the past three years could 'explode at any moment'.
