Just month's removed from a recommendation to shut down the presidential helicopter program, Lockheed got some unfortunate, if expected, news late Monday. "We got official notification last night that they're going to go ahead and terminate the presidential helicopter program," said Troy Scully during a press conference Tuesday.
Behind schedule and over budget, the presidential helicopter program's slow decline took another step forward when the Navy cut the more than $13 billion contract.
