Joint Strike Fighter feeling the heat

F-35 Lightning IIThe Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) continues to encounter problems in its design and testing phase.

Tests on the aircraft have revealed that in its current form, the JSF will be limited in hot weather conditions.

The supersonic aircraft is designed to fly in stealth mode in order to avoid showing up on enemy radar.

  1. Somethinng for Australia's DoD to consider then probably stuff up.

    When we buy the F-35 they will need to transit from their Newcastle base across the hot Australian desert to man their most effective bases in the very hot Northern Territory.

    But one can be confident DoD and Fitzgibbon will buy the F-35 early, slower, expensive and under-developed. Beijing's requirements...aye Fitzy?
