Babcock undertakes study for Australia’s future submarine

Collins class submarineBabcock, the through-life defence specialist, is assisting in the development of Australia’s future submarine project, with a study into the payload systems.

Babcock Integrated Technology Australia has been contracted by Australia’s Defence Materiel Organisation to undertake a six month study that will enable requirements for the submarine payload systems to be better defined.

It will review the impact of the various options on the submarine design.
