Sea PROTECTOR to 'Fridtjof Nansen' Frigate
Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KONGSBERG) has signed a contract for delivery of Sea PROTECTOR remote weapon systems to the Norwegian armed forces.
The delivery of the systems includes equipment, integration and logistics services.
The systems will be fully operational on the Royal Norwegian Navy's new 'Fridtjof Nansen' frigate within the third quarter of 2009, and will provide unique operational capabilities to counter asymmetric threats and enhance overall ship protection and surveillance capabilities.
