A new chance for ”Admiral Nakhimov”?

Admiral NakhimovSpeaker in the Russian Federation Council Sergey Mironov says he will do what he can to resume the reconstruction of the heavy battle cruiser “Admiral Nakhimov” currently moored at the Sevmash yard in Severodvinsk.

During a visit to Arkhangelsk last week, Mr. Mironov highlighted that the federal government should step up financing of the “Admiral Nakhimov”.

The vessel has been docked at Sevmash for 12 years and federal authorities do not allocate sufficient annual funding for completion.
