Korean Navy Launches New Destroyer

The Navy launched a new destroyer at the Busan Naval Operations Base on Friday.

The 4200-ton destroyer "Choeyeongham" is Korea's sixth DDH-II destroyer.

It is 150 meters long, 40 meters high and 17-point-four meters wide. It can reach a maximum speed of 30 knots and has a range of ten-thousand-200 kilometers. It can accommodate a crew of up to 300.
