HMS St Albans back to sea

Type-23 FrigateFollowing a year inaction HMS St Albans is braving the sea once more with its new title of most capable frigate'.

After it's year-long refit the ship is to take to the water again for sea trails.

The MOD spent almost £10 million updating the ships defence systems including new Sonar systems and the ability to accommodate helicopters.

advertisementDefence equipment director Commodore Graham Peach says the HMS St Albans is now a first class war ship.
