Harris Corp. wins contract from Royal Netherlands Air Force for Falcon Watch Remote Surveillance Systems

Harris Corp. announced that it has received a contract to supply the Royal Netherlands Air Force with Falcon Watch Remote Surveillance Systems to offer force protection and perimeter security for forward operating bases in Afghanistan.

The company noted that as per the terms of the contract, it would offer networked systems consisting of the Falcon Watch RF-5400V-SR Falcon II Ground Sensor and the Falcon Watch RF-5408-RI Remote Imager.

Ed Lockwood, vice president of sales, Harris International Government Systems said, "The Falcon Watch Remote Surveillance System offers an integrated solution of intelligent sensors, fixed and deployable imagers, robust communications and advanced reporting protocols.

The system will provide the RNLAF with state-of-the-art force protection and security for forward positions in difficult terrain."
