By 2010, Russia will have completed the decommissioning of all its retired nuclear submarines, a representative of Rosatom says.Only two submarines, both in a emergency state, will remain not decommissioned by 2010, Yevgenii Kudryavtsev confirmed in a conference on the issue today.
Since 2002, a total of 99 subs have been decommissioned and dismantled, 70 of the on Russian funding and the remaining 29 with support from foreign donors.
