Iran Optimizes Missile System

Iranian air force experts optimized S-200 surface-to-air missile system.

The missile unit of the air force successfully test fired the optimized version of S-200 missiles in a ceremony on Sunday attended by army and government officials.

"Assessment of the efficiency level of the country's air defense, including missile and radar systems, in the face of possible threats to Iran and promotion of the technical know-how and skills of the operational and technical personnel were among the goals pursued by the missile test," Air force commander General Ahmad Miqani said on the sidelines of the ceremony.
