St. John’s company completes second aircraft modifications for Netherlands

Provincial Aerospace Ltd. completed modifications to a second maritime patrol aircraft Wednesday as part of its $120-million contract with the Netherlands defence ministry.

Those planes will patrol the waters around Netherlands Antilles and Aruba in the Caribbean.

Twenty PAL employees will also be based in Curacao to carry out maritime surveillance, reconnaissance, and search and rescue operations.
