Russia delivers 2 Mi-171Sh combat helicopters to Croatia

Russia has delivered to Croatia two Mi-171Sh combat and transport helicopters, a representative of Russia's State-run arms exporter Rosoboronexport said Wednesday.

"Two knocked down helicopters were delivered on December 5 to the air force base in Croatia's Velika Gorica, where they were assembled within a week," Leonid Gladchenko said.

He said that in line with the contract, signed by Rosoboronexport and the Croatian Defense Ministry in 2006, Russia will supply a total of 10 Mi-171Sh helicopters to Croatia.
