Rafael in Spanish helicopter missile deal

Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. and Spanish General Dynamics Santa Barbara Sistemas (GDSBS) will supply the Spanish Air Force with Rafael's Spike extended range missiles for helicopters, the Spanish Defense Ministry has announced.

The missiles will be installed on Tiger attack helicopters built by Eurocopter. Rafael's share in the contract is worth $35 million.

The Spike ER is a fire-and-forget antitank missile with a range of up to eight kilometers.
