Pakistan army confirms missile-test


After India successfully tested an anti-ballistic missile to add to its Ballistic Missile Defence System, Pakistan has made a tit for tat move, by test firing a cruise missile of its own.

The testing of the Haft VII or Babur Missile has been confirmed by the Pakistan army. With a range of 700 kilometers the missile is capable of hitting targets deep inside India.

It is also capable of delivering nuclear warheads. The missile can be fired from warships, submarines, and fighter jets, and is designed to avoid detection by radar systems.
