No decision yet for frigates in Labuan

The Royal Malaysian Navy said that no decision had been made to partially build frigates in Labuan, Sabah.

Its chief Admiral, Tan Sri Ramlan Mohamed Ali, said the contract had also not been awarded yet.

“The government has not decided on who to award the contract to, and where to build the ship.

“The options are open. As long as no contracts have been signed, anything is possible,” he said at the Langkawi International Airport here Sunday.
