Indian Frigates to Moor to Severnaya Verf

Federal-run Rosoboronexport is negotiating construction of another three frigates for India. The overall worth of the contract will be at least $1.7 billion and Severnaya Verf could be the key contractor.

The fact that Rosoboronexport is in talks about supplying to India another three frigates under Project 11356 has been reported by a source with one of profile departments.

“The consultations are active and we count on signing the contract soon,” the bureaucrat hoped.
